LEGAL ASSOCIATES

At NLC Law Asia LLC, we see our associates as our assets and future directors of the practice. For this reason, we are prepared to dedicate time and resources to train our associates to handle the rigours of legal practice.

We are looking for dedicated and commercially saavy young lawyers to join our family.


Your job scope will include:

  • Managing or assisting on case files

  • Drafting court documents and correspondence

  • Legal research

  • Meeting and advising clients on various aspects of their case

  • Attending court hearings, pre-trial conferences and case management conferences where necessary


Requirements:

  • 1 to 2 years’ PQE Singapore qualified lawyer

  • Experience in commercial litigation preferred

  • Strong academic credentials (minimum Second-Upper degree)

  • Commercially and tech saavy, shows initiative, team-player, outgoing personality, with a passion for advocacy.

SUPPORT STAFF

We recognize that our lawyers cannot do everything and good support staff, including secretaries, receptionists, admin and accounting staff are equally vital to the success of the firm.  

We welcome applicants with no prior experience but with a positive learning attitude to apply to join our support team.

Requirements:

  • Good command of English (and preferably Mandarin)

  • Good typing speed and accuracy

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word

  • Minimum of O Level qualification

  • Able to work both independently and in a team

  • Able to work overtime if required

Job Descriptions:

  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Director(s) / Associates

  • Assist with the drafting, proof-reading, printing, binding and scanning of court documents/agreements/letters/documents

  • Manage e-Litigation case files and file documents on e-Litigation

  • Conduct Lawnet/e-Litigation/case searches

  • Attending to clients, handling calls, managing files/documents, scheduling appointments/meetings, managing calendars, replying to correspondence/emails/faxes, preparing timesheets

  • Any other duties as assigned from time to time
